2. The Cayuga Lake Floating Classroom gives K through 12 and college classes the opportunity to get out on Cayuga Lake and learn about its nature and protection. On Thursday, October 4th (rain date October 11th) a group of middle schoolers from Southern Cayuga Schools will be working with their teachers and Floating Classroom staff on the lake and in Stratton Hall. If you are interested in volunteering to assist please contact Professor O’ Leary (noleary@wells.edu) for more information. There is a possibility that the work might lead to a paid internship opportunity with the Floating Classroom in the spring or summer.
