Dear Students,
As many of you may have noticed, there are five plastic tubs in the front section of the dining hall, each bearing a different Resident Advisor staff member. This is for the “Arrest and RA” program that the RA staff is holding this semester.
This program will run the entire length of fall semester and end just before finals time. Here is what you need to do. By putting your spare change in the tub of the RA of your choosing, you are essentially voting to see that RA arrested in front of everyone at a public event at the end of the semester. The RA with the most change in their tub at the end of the semester will be the one to get arrested.
The winning RA will also get to choose where all of the money is donated.
Emily Mulkerne will donate her money to Autism Speaks.
Jess Ward will donate her money to the American Cancer Society.
Justin Nasca wants to donate his money to the Auburn SPCA.
Ashley Mercure wants to donate her money to the Upstate New York Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
And I, Colin Evans, if win, will donate the money to the Aurora Volunteer Fire Department.
So please, empty your pockets of all that extra spare change you won’t ever use, and vote to see one of your RAs arrested. Thanks!
Colin Evans
